Zhongji InnoLight Co., Ltd. reported a 262% increase in net profit for Q1, reaching nearly 5.74 billion yuan ($2.84 billion), alongside a 192.12% rise in operating revenue to 19.5 billion yuan. This performance highlights a major shift towards optical interconnects in AI data centers, which are essential due to the limitations of traditional copper interconnects.
The global market for optical modules is expected to exceed $50 billion by 2026. Other Chinese firms are experiencing similar growth, supported by government policies focusing on technological innovation and infrastructure development.
