ZincFive Achieves 2 GW Milestone in Nickel-Zinc Battery Deployment for Data Centers
ZincFive has surpassed 2 gigawatts (GW) of global power output from nickel-zinc battery solutions, signaling a significant shift in data center energy infrastructure. The adoption of these batteries is driven by demand for higher power density, enhanced safety, and long-term sustainability.

ZincFive has achieved over 2 GW of power output from its nickel-zinc battery solutions, indicating a strong trend toward their adoption in data centers. This achievement highlights the growing customer demand for alternatives to traditional lead-acid and lithium-ion battery technologies, which offer advantages such as reduced footprint and lower emissions throughout their lifecycle.
The company is expanding its production capabilities to meet this global demand. Its BC Series, including the BC 2 AI battery cabinet, is designed for both traditional backup needs and dynamic AI-powered environments. Additionally, the newly announced NiZn Retrofit Kit allows existing lead-acid systems to be upgraded easily, minimizing costs and operational disruptions.
