Zoomarine Algarve Implements Animal Welfare Initiative with Upcycled Uniforms
Zoomarine Algarve's circular economy project has repurposed staff uniforms into 100 pet beds and 75 blankets, enhancing animal welfare. This initiative supports both employee engagement and social responsibility, aligning with the park's values.

Zoomarine Algarve's recent initiative has resulted in the creation of 100 beds and 75 blankets for pets from old staff uniforms, as part of a circular economy project. The finished products were distributed to employees for their pets, while additional items will be donated to the São Francisco Xavier Kennel, including six to seven large beds, 28 small beds, and 21 blankets.
This project was developed in partnership with United to Remake, a startup focused on sustainable design and material reuse. The effort underscores Zoomarine Algarve's commitment to social responsibility and employee involvement in animal welfare.
