1103rd Infantry Brigade and MILG-Sulu Award Livelihood Assistance to 44 Beneficiaries in Sulu
The 1103rd Infantry Brigade and the Ministry of Interior and Local Government-Sulu awarded the Second Tranche Livelihood Assistance to 44 beneficiaries of Project Tulong ng Gobyernong Nagmamalasakit (TUGON) on December 18, 2025, in Patikul, Sulu. MILG-Sulu director Emini Kadiri highlighted the importance of government support in empowering communities and improving socio-economic conditions.
Brigadier General Emmanuel Cabasan emphasized that peace is achieved through community empowerment and opportunities. The program aims to strengthen livelihoods and promote local development, demonstrating the government's commitment to creating productive members of society and addressing the root causes of conflict through inter-agency collaboration in Sulu.
