FUEL CELL

The 1972 Datsun 240Z, acquired as a non-running project in 2014, has been converted into a track car. It features a 2.9-liter inline-six engine with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Modifications include triple sidedraft carburetors, a tubular header, a 2.5'' exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, a 15-gallon fuel cell, aluminum lower control arms, adjustable coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, and a ZTrix widebody kit. Previously listed on BaT in April 2021, the car was last tracked in January 2021 for a NASA endurance race at Laguna Seca.

It comes with a NASA logbook, spare parts, and a clean California title. The vehicle has undergone body refinishing, includes LED headlights, and has been repaired after on-track damage. A dyno test from 2019 showed 275 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque. Total mileage is unknown, with the digital odometer indicating 3,400 miles.
