$270 Million in Federal Funding Allocated for Various Projects in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is set to receive over $270 million in federal funding for key projects across the Commonwealth, secured by Senator Dave McCormick through the FY 2026 Congressionally Directed Spending program. Major allocations include $183.8 million for the Army Corps of Engineers to enhance Ohio River lock and dam sites, $15 million for the Machinery Control Development Center in Cumberland County, and funds for wastewater upgrades in Franklin County, airport expansion in Lancaster, and public safety equipment.

Pennsylvania will receive more than $270 million in federal funding for various projects. The funding, secured by Senator Dave McCormick through the FY 2026 Congressionally Directed Spending program, includes $183.8 million for the Army Corps of Engineers to improve lock conditions at three Ohio River sites.
Additional allocations are $15 million for the Machinery Control Development Center in Cumberland County, $5 million for Lancaster Airport expansion, and $2 million for wastewater upgrades in Franklin County. Furthermore, $500,000 is designated for Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts in Dauphin County, and $400,000 each for public safety equipment in Cumberland and York Counties.
