On February 11, 2026, the 32nd Infantry Battalion (32IB) conducted a gift-giving and humanitarian outreach event for children in Sampinit Complex, Mahatalang village, Sumisip, Basilan. Led by Lieutenant Colonel Gerwin Maghuyop, the initiative was part of their Civil-Military Operations (CMO) to support vulnerable sectors and strengthen community ties.

Troops distributed assorted gifts and basic items to bring joy to the children and families. The activity was coordinated with local community members to ensure peaceful conduct, emphasizing the military's role in community development alongside their peacekeeping duties.
