$409M Roosevelt Bridge Replacement Project Initiated with Parsons as Lead Designer
Parsons has been appointed as the lead designer for the $409 million Roosevelt Bridge replacement over Lake Texoma. The project aims to enhance regional connectivity and safety while maintaining traffic flow during its two-phase construction.

Parsons will lead the design of the Roosevelt Bridge replacement, valued at $409 million, spanning Lake Texoma in Oklahoma. The Zachry Construction/Traylor Brothers Construction Joint Venture will execute the project, overseen by the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers. The replacement will involve a 63-span bridge with foundations reaching approximately 150 feet below the lake surface and is designed to maintain traffic during construction. Originally built in 1945, the existing bridge is vital for local transport.
Additionally, NASA's Wallops Causeway Bridge project in Virginia, started in April 2025, highlights the importance of bridges for U.S. transportation. Both projects reflect the growing demand for modern infrastructure solutions.
