$44 Billion Investment in Egypt's Gas and Petroleum Sector
Egypt's petroleum sector is set to attract approximately $44 billion in new investments across five sectors, including natural gas. This initiative, supported by the new mining wealth law, aims to enhance domestic production and infrastructure.

Egypt's petroleum sector is undergoing significant expansion with projected investments totaling around $44 billion across natural gas, petrol, chemicals, infrastructure, and mining. Specifically, $21.8 billion is allocated for natural gas development, with $14.1 billion currently underway and an additional $7.7 billion planned for future projects.
Furthermore, since November 2013, the sector has secured 56 new petroleum agreements worth $12 billion. The introduction of the new mining wealth law is expected to support these initiatives, potentially boosting economic growth and resource management in the region.
