8VC Invests $8 Million in Israeli Drone Camera Startup Litevision
US venture capital firm 8VC has made its first defense-tech investment in Israel, contributing $8 million to Litevision, a startup developing electro-optical cameras for small drones. Litevision was founded by former members of the IDF Intelligence Corps and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. Other investors in this round include Kinetica, Q-Fund, and 10D. Kinetica is raising a $150 million fund for investments in Israeli defense companies, led by veterans from the Israeli military and backed by institutional investors from Abraham Accords countries.

The investment round also included Israeli funds Kinetica, Q-Fund, and 10D. Kinetica, which is raising a $150 million fund for Israeli defense investments, counts 8VC among its backers. The fund is led by veteran investors and former military officials. This marks the first collaboration between 8VC and Kinetica.
