The 97th Infantry Battalion (97IB) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) established a partnership on December 23 to empower former rebels, uniformed personnel, and their dependents in Zamboanga del Norte. The Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA), signed in Piñan, aims to deliver a Skills Training and Assessment program through TESDA's Provincial Training Center in Sindangan.

This program will focus on training and certifying identified recipients, promoting entrepreneurship, and raising awareness of TESDA's offerings. The initiative is designed to develop skilled workers and prepare participants for employment across various industries, supporting community development and sustainable livelihoods.
