A-THON's ASHVA All-Terrain Vehicle Tested by Indian Army in Exercise Kharga Shakti 2026
A-THON All-Terrain Private Limited developed the ASHVA, an indigenously designed All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Tested during Exercise Kharga Shakti 2026, the ASHVA platform includes various configurations for military use. It is capable of high-altitude operations and aims to replace imported ATVs in Indian defense. The vehicle features advanced safety and handling, with robust performance across diverse terrains. A-THON's ASHVA is the only IDDM platform in the exercise, showcasing India's push for self-reliance in defense manufacturing.

The ASHVA, developed by Bengaluru-based A-THON All-Terrain Private Limited, was tested by the Indian Army during Exercise Kharga Shakti 2026. This All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) can traverse various terrains and features configurations such as the ASHVA 4X4 2S, 4S, 5S, and 6X6 2S.
It is designed to operate at high altitudes, up to 20,000 feet, and is fully manufactured in India. The ASHVA series aims to replace imported ATVs in military operations and is compliant with the IDDM category for defense procurement. A-THON has partnered with ARTPARK and IIT Ropar for further development in defense technologies.
