AAC Clyde Space Launches Seven Satellites on SpaceX Transporter-16
AAC Clyde Space has expanded its orbital capabilities with the successful deployment of seven satellites aboard SpaceX's Transporter-16 mission. This launch reinforces AAC Clyde Space's role as a key player in the small satellite ecosystem and highlights the potential for advanced data services in agriculture and forestry.

On March 30, 2026, SpaceX launched its Transporter-16 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base, deploying 119 payloads, including seven satellites from AAC Clyde Space. This launch marks the deployment of VIREON-1 and VIREON-2, part of AAC's Earth Observation constellation, optimized for high-resolution land monitoring with a ground sample distance of 1.5 meters.
The mission also featured the CubeCAT laser communication terminals, enabling up to 1 Gbps data throughput. AAC Clyde Space's involvement in this mission showcases its integrated business model spanning satellite manufacturing to data delivery, enhancing its strategic position within the small satellite market.
