AAL Shipping Delivers 195 Units for US Natural Gas Power Project
AAL Shipping has transported 195 units of heavy power generation equipment to Houston, Texas, supporting ongoing investments in the US energy sector, particularly in natural gas. The US is projected to invest over USD1 trillion in grid infrastructure, enhancing the demand for heavy-lift shipping capabilities.

AAL Shipping has successfully delivered 195 units of heavy power generation equipment to Houston, Texas, utilizing its 31,000 dwt A-Class vessel, AAL Kobe. The shipment, weighing 12,000 freight tons, was handled by cranes with a maximum capacity of 700 tonnes.
The US Energy Information Administration indicates that natural gas accounts for around 43 percent of the nation's power generation. Furthermore, investor-owned utility companies in the US are projected to allocate over USD1 trillion to grid infrastructure within the next five years, with Texas as a focal point. This trend indicates an increasing demand for heavy-lift shipping services, necessitating the expansion of carrier fleets like AAL's recently introduced Super B-class vessel, AAL Mumbai.
