ABB Robotics is the first multinational corporation to secure China Robot (CR) certification for its full product portfolio, which includes models such as the IRB 1520, IRB 1600, and PoWa collaborative robots. This achievement marks a milestone following ABB's partnership with the Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute.

The certification supports ABB's 'China, for China' strategy, affirming product safety and quality. The company plans to achieve full certification for over 120 product types by 2026. ABB will continue to collaborate with local partners to enhance innovation and support the smart manufacturing sector in China.
