Ed aims to fill a market gap for male-targeted dog accessories while balancing full-time work and family life.

Ed, a former Royal Navy serviceman from Abergavenny, has launched Monty XI, a dog brand inspired by his late pet, Monty. The business was established with a £20,000 Start Up Loan from X-Forces Enterprise, enabling the creation of dog walking accessories inspired by classic 1990s football kits.
The product range includes collars, harnesses, and leads, with designs referencing teams like Arsenal and Manchester United. A portion of sales will support the Blue Cross charity, which aided Ed during his pet's bereavement. Ed identified a gap in the market for male-oriented dog products and plans to expand the brand in the future.
