On January 14, 2026, AccelerComm announced its participation in Airbus UpNext SpaceRAN, a demonstrator for advanced 5G Non-Terrestrial Network capabilities. AccelerComm supplies a 5G physical layer solution for satellite networks, enabling direct signal processing in orbit.

This collaboration aims to enhance global connectivity for commercial and defense applications, improving throughput and reducing latency. The project, part of Air!5G and supported by the French government, seeks to develop future 5G NTN standards and low-cost orbital data transmission.
