Accupower Unveils Natec Home Sodium-Ion Battery for Residential Use in Austria
Accupower, based in Graz, Austria, has launched the Natec Home, a sodium-ion battery system with a capacity of 7.68 kWh and power output of 3.8 kW, priced at €3,990. It allows connection of up to 15 units, has a service life of 20-25 years, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C. Series production began in April 2025, with plans for industrial solutions by mid-2026.

Accupower has introduced the Natec Home, a sodium-ion battery designed for residential photovoltaic systems and backup applications. The unit has a nominal capacity of 7.68 kWh and a power output of 3.8 kW, allowing up to 15 units to be connected in parallel.
Priced at €3,990, it features high thermal stability and operates effectively between -30°C and 50°C. The estimated service life is 20-25 years with 8,000 charging cycles. Series production commenced in April 2025, and industrial container solutions are expected by mid-2026. Accupower is part of the emerging sodium-ion battery sector in the EU.
