Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, India's Chief of Naval Staff, confirmed that 'Operation Sindoor', targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, is ongoing. During his visit to Ranchi, he described the operation as one of the most challenging experiences in his career.

He indicated that the operation has paused but is not concluded, emphasizing the Navy's readiness for any potential conflict. Tripathi noted that the operation provided valuable lessons in equipment and strategy.

He also highlighted the integration of AI and cyber warfare technologies into naval operations, stressing the need for youths to acquire skills beyond conventional education to contribute to India's development. Tripathi outlined India's vision for 2047, aiming for a $30 trillion economy and 100% literacy, while also underscoring the Navy's critical role in safeguarding maritime trade, which constitutes 90% of global and 95% of India's trade.
