ADS-TEC Energy to Construct 10 MW Battery Storage for Stadtwerke Mühlacker
Construction of a 10 MW battery storage system with 20 MWh capacity begins at Mühlacker substation, expected to be operational by October 2026. This system aims to enhance grid stability and manage peak loads amid increasing electricity demand.

ADS-TEC Energy has commenced construction of a large-scale battery storage system at the Mühlacker substation, featuring a power output of 10 MW and a capacity of 20 MWh. The project, first announced in January 2026, is scheduled to be operational by October 2026, with the delivery of four BESS5000 container systems planned for summer 2026.
This facility aims to aid in peak load management and energy consumption shifting, addressing the growing electricity demand driven by e-mobility and digital infrastructure. The project reflects a collaboration between ADS-TEC Energy and Stadtwerke Mühlacker, focusing on sustainable and economical long-term operation.
