ADSB Secures $1.89 Billion Shipbuilding Contract with Kuwait Defense Ministry

On January 26, Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) approved a $1.89 billion contract with the Kuwait Ministry of Defense for the construction of eight Falaj-class ships, each measuring 62 meters. The agreement, signed with EDGE Commercial LLC, represents over 5% of ADSB's AED 211.99 million share capital. In June 2025, ADSB received a letter of award from EDGE Group to provide Falaj 3-class missile boats to the Kuwait Naval Forces.
