Aerix Systems Secures €5M to Advance High-Speed Drone Interceptors for Counter-Drone Warfare
French startup Aerix Systems has raised €5 million in funding to industrialize its autonomous interceptor drones. The funding, led by Odyssée Venture, will facilitate the transition from prototype to production, targeting a shift in counter-drone warfare towards agile, reusable aerial interceptors. Aerix's technology features an omnidirectional propulsion system, enabling effective drone-on-drone combat. The company is also part of NATO's DIANA accelerator, indicating growing interest in its innovative defense solutions.

Aerix Systems has raised €5 million in March 2026 to industrialize high-speed autonomous interceptor drones designed to neutralize airborne threats. This funding, led by Odyssée Venture, aims to transition the company from prototype development to production.
Aerix's technology features an omnidirectional propulsion system, allowing for agile drone-on-drone combat. The system addresses existing limitations of counter-drone methods, such as jamming and missile defenses.
Selected for NATO's DIANA accelerator, Aerix's focus on scalable, mobile solutions positions it to meet the demand for effective counter-drone capabilities in complex operational environments. The funding follows a previous €1.6 million raised in 2024, marking a significant step towards commercialization.
