AeroVironment Launches Mission Specialist Wraith UUV for Subsea Operations
AeroVironment Inc. has introduced the Mission Specialist Wraith, an advanced unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) designed for complex subsea operations. Equipped with six-degree-of-freedom maneuverability and 10 vectored thrusters, the Wraith supports various payloads for inspection, defense, and scientific missions, while offering up to 80 pounds of forward thrust. This Expeditionary configuration marks the first of several planned enhancements aimed at improving depth capability and system flexibility.
