AeroVironment Launches Wraith Unmanned Underwater Vehicle via VideoRay
AeroVironment Inc. has launched the Mission Specialist Wraith, an advanced unmanned underwater vehicle developed by its subsidiary VideoRay. Featuring six-degree-of-freedom maneuverability and 10 thrusters for 80 pounds of thrust, the Wraith is designed for subsea inspection and defense, with an open-architecture design for quick reconfiguration. The Expeditionary configuration marks the first in a series aimed at enhancing depth, payload, and endurance capabilities.

It can stabilize in strong currents and support various payloads for subsea inspection and defense. The Wraith is built on an open-architecture design for rapid reconfiguration. The Expeditionary configuration is the first in a series planned to enhance depth, payload, and endurance capabilities.
