AeroVironment's Puma 3 AE UAS can achieve a communications range of 20 km, extendable to 60 km with advanced antennas. This third-generation system is designed for land and maritime operations, featuring a 1.4 m length, 2.8 m wingspan, and a weight of 7.1 kg.
It is equipped with the Mantis i45 EO/IR sensor suite for high-resolution imaging and can operate in autonomous or manual modes. Since 2019, AeroVironment has secured over $50 million in contracts for the Puma 3 AE, including significant orders from the US Border Patrol and the US Department of Defense.
