Aethon Energy Management LLC announced a Global Strategic Alliance with Mitsubishi Corporation to collaborate on energy transition and infrastructure projects. The alliance will explore opportunities in LNG, CCUS, geothermal energy, and digital infrastructure.

Mitsubishi will assist Aethon in financing projects through its global capital relationships. Additionally, Mitsubishi agreed to purchase Aethon’s US gas and pipeline assets for $5.2 billion, marking a significant investment in the US shale sector, with Aethon's total enterprise value at $7.5 billion. Aethon has rights to buy back up to 25% of its assets.
