Agilis Air to Pre-Build 55 Low-Cost UAS Systems for U.S. Defense in Ohio
Agilis Air, based in North Benton, Ohio, is set to pre-fabricate 55 Remora UAS systems with funding from multiple sources to enhance U.S. drone production. The initiative aims to address the Department of War's drone mandate by reducing delivery times from months to days. Current small UAS prices average $7,000, while the target is below $2,000 per unit. This project supports defense modernization and strengthens domestic supply chains.
