AgriFoodTure Invests 27 Million DKK in Green Agriculture and Food Solutions
AgriFoodTure has invested 27 million DKK in six new research and innovation projects aimed at promoting the green transition in the agriculture and food sectors. The projects include methane reduction from barn air, development of plant-based cheese alternatives, and use of radar and satellite data for measuring nitrogen leaching.
The investment aligns with the growing focus on climate action in agriculture and food industry. Sixteen partners, including universities, research institutions, established companies, and startups, are involved in the projects named DEEP-LITT, Nitrification of digestate, PERMA FS MEPS, MyFunBlight, REACT, and WOW-Organic.
The initiative supports the Danish government's goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030. Since its establishment in 2022, AgriFoodTure has invested a total of 198 million DKK in 36 green projects.
