AgriPass Robotics has secured $7.5 million in seed funding to advance its robotic weed-control platform in the US and Europe. Led by Harbor Venture Consulting, the funding will facilitate manufacturing readiness and expand commercial field operations.
Founded in 2023 in Israel, AgriPass's RHIC platform uses computer vision to detect weeds and perform selective mechanical actions to remove them while minimizing soil disturbance. Designed for small and mid-sized farms, RHIC can replace the work of up to 20 manual workers daily.
The technology promotes sustainable farming by reducing chemical herbicide use and improving water management. Initial focus is on high-value vegetable crops, with commercial deployments already underway. The company anticipates growth by 2026, supported by collaborations within the ag-robotics ecosystem.
