The Authority of Holding Sealed Particulars (AHSP) of the Carrier Command Post Tracked (CCPT) vehicle was transferred at Ordnance Factory Medak, reinforcing India's indigenous defence manufacturing. The CCPT vehicle, designed by DRDO's Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), functions as a command vehicle for the deployment of Self-Propelled Artillery guns.
It is built on the extended chassis of the BMP-2 to meet Indian Army requirements, ensuring mobility that matches SP guns on a tracked platform. The event included officials from DRDO, DGQA, OFMK, BEL, and the Indian Army.
