AIMOTO Achieves Indigenous Production of Ultra-High-Purity Silver Nitrate and Nano-Silver in India
AIMOTO, a subsidiary of Artificial Electronics Intelligent Material Limited, has successfully developed and manufactured ultra-high-purity silver nitrate and engineered nano-silver particles from metallic silver. This milestone places India among a few nations capable of producing semiconductor-grade and biomedical-grade nanoscale silver materials through entirely indigenous processes.
Previously, India relied on imports from China, Japan, and Europe for high-purity silver derivatives. AIMOTO's achievement enhances domestic self-reliance and secures the supply chain for industries reliant on advanced materials.
The company is set for commercial-scale production, utilizing automated reactors and adhering to global semiconductor-grade standards. AIMOTO aims to supply high-purity silver-based nanomaterials for semiconductors, healthcare, defense, and advanced manufacturing, fortifying India's materials ecosystem.
