Air Force Capt. Daniel White of the Defense Contract Management Agency's Aircraft Integrated Maintenance Operations San Antonio office received the 2025 Staff Sgt. Ronald L.
King Award for outstanding contingency contracting on January 8. From October 2024 to September 2025, White served as the operational contract support integration cell chief for Special Operations Command Central, overseeing the largest contracting portfolio for the command.
His team managed contracts worth over $157 million, ensuring support for 3,400 special operations forces across multiple regions including Iraq and Syria.
