The Department of the Air Force has established an integrated program office to manage the Joint Fires Network (JFN). This initiative aims to transform the JFN prototype into a reliable asset for the Joint Force, focusing on integration at the combatant command level and improving warfighting efficiency.

The JFN will leverage the Department of War's Battle Network and benefit from contributions across military branches. Development will follow the DOW's Software Acquisition Pathway to ensure rapid capability delivery and adaptability to emerging threats.
