Air Force Launches RAPID Program for Resilient Intelligence Platforms Development
The Air Force has initiated the RAPID program to develop resilient analytic platforms for intelligence delivery, utilizing $237 million over five years. The program aims to integrate multiple intelligence types into cloud-based tools with automation and cyber resilience. The Air Force Research Laboratory will conduct a two-step selection process for contractors, accepting submissions until 2029, with initial deadlines on Feb. 25 and subsequent deadlines on Sept. 30 each year.

The Air Force has launched the RAPID program to create resilient analytic platforms for intelligence delivery, supported by $237 million over five years. This initiative will utilize traditional and other transaction authority contracts to develop cloud-based tools that integrate various intelligence types, including geospatial, signal, and human data, alongside automation and cyber defense capabilities.
The program aims to streamline the transition from data collection to actionable intelligence. The Air Force Research Laboratory will conduct a two-step process for contractor selection, starting with white paper reviews, followed by proposal invitations. Submissions are open until 2029, with the first deadline on Feb. 25 and annual deadlines on Sept. 30.
