Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office Launches IAS Innovation Hub
The Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office is set to operationalize the Identify-Apply-Scale (IAS) hub later this year, aimed at enhancing sustainment technology delivery. This initiative, developed in partnership with the University of Dayton Research Institute since 2018, will provide a platform for real-time collaboration on sustainment solutions.

The Identify-Apply-Scale (IAS) capability will facilitate the identification, prototyping, and scaling of sustainment technologies for the U.S. Air Force. The hub operates on a 'hub and spoke' model, integrating startups, academia, and industry to ensure continuous innovation.
By streamlining processes and allowing cross-functional teams to leverage government expertise, the IAS aims to address sustainment challenges effectively. This initiative underscores the RSO's commitment to maintaining mission readiness and national security, even amid global disruptions. The IAS is expected to revolutionize the sustainment technology landscape for the Air Force.
