Air Force Research Laboratory Launches $10 Billion Multiple Award Contract for Science and Technology Services
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has launched a $10 billion multiple award contract to establish a pool of qualified contractors for science and technology services over five years, with three additional one-year options. The contract will focus on four technical areas: air, space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare, targeting key technologies such as artificial intelligence and hypersonics. This initiative aims to enhance research and development activities to support warfighters across various domains.

The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has announced a multiple award contract (MAC) aimed at establishing a pool of qualified contractors to streamline the acquisition of science and technology services. The MAC has a duration of five years with three one-year options and a total value of $10 billion.
It focuses on four technical areas: air domain, space domain, cyberspace and electronic warfare domain, and cross-cutting domain. Key technologies targeted for development include artificial intelligence, advanced air vehicles, hypersonics, Space Situational Awareness, and more.
The contract will encompass various research and development activities such as data science, modeling and simulation, and integration. AFRL's mission is to support warfighters by integrating capabilities across air, space, and cyber domains.
