Airbility Partners with Thai Firms for UAV Public Safety Initiatives
Airbility, a South Korean eVTOL developer, has formed a partnership with NT iBuzz, SmartOkO Thailand, and KILSA Global to enhance public safety and border security in Thailand. This collaboration will leverage advanced UAV systems for various applications, including law enforcement support and disaster response.

Airbility has entered a Memorandum of Understanding with NT iBuzz, SmartOkO Thailand, and KILSA Global to implement UAV systems for public safety in Thailand. The initiative focuses on applications such as border surveillance, law enforcement, disaster response, and infrastructure monitoring.
The parties will jointly develop and operate these UAV systems, incorporating secure communication networks and AI-based analytics for real-time monitoring. Founded in 2023 by experts from Hyundai Motor Company and Korea's Agency for Defense Development, Airbility aims to deliver comprehensive solutions addressing Thailand's security requirements. The collaboration presents potential risks related to regulatory compliance and integration challenges in the deployment of advanced UAV technology.
