Aisin Partners with NEDO, Toyota, and ENEOS on Hydrogen Station Feasibility Study
Aisin Corp is collaborating with NEDO, Toyota, and ENEOS on a hydrogen refueling station feasibility study from August 2026 to March 2027. This initiative aims to develop a model for onsite hydrogen production for commercial vehicles in inland areas, potentially reducing transportation costs and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Aisin Corp, along with Toyota Motor Corp and ENEOS Corp, will conduct a feasibility study focusing on onsite hydrogen production for refueling stations targeting commercial vehicles. Running from August 2026 to March 2027, the study will evaluate technical and business viability while analyzing demand for logistics and transport optimization.
Aisin's role encompasses examining electrolyzer specifications, while ENEOS will focus on energy management and operational support. The initiative aligns with Japan's hydrogen corridor concept and aims to enhance the hydrogen supply chain, addressing the specific needs of commercial vehicles that require larger fuel volumes.
