Construction Begins on Solid-State Hydrogen Storage Facility in Shaanxi

Shaanxi 1908 New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has initiated the construction of a solid-state hydrogen storage equipment facility at the Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy Quality Technology Innovation Base, with a trial production phase scheduled for August 2026. The facility will encompass approximately 2,000 m², focusing on the development and production of metal-based composite solid-state hydrogen storage materials and power supplies, along with testing and inspection functions.

This project is part of a broader strategy to enhance the hydrogen industry in northwest China, contributing to the overall goal of fostering innovation and supporting a low-carbon energy system. The new facility is expected to strengthen regional competitiveness in the hydrogen sector and aid in achieving national environmental targets.
