Allied Critical Metals Receives Environmental Approval for Borralha Tungsten Project in Portugal

Allied Critical Metals Inc. has received a favorable environmental impact declaration from the Portuguese Environment Agency for its Borralha tungsten project in Montalegre, Portugal. This approval enables the project to advance to the execution and environmental compliance report stage.

The project, which aims to produce tungsten, copper, and tin concentrates, is aligned with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act and is seen as strategic for national defense supply chains. The company plans to develop an industrial-scale processing plant by the end of 2027, aiming to create jobs and support local economic development. The latest resource estimate indicates 13 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources with an average grade of 0.21% WO3.
