ROBOTICS
Allonic, a robotics startup based in Budapest, has raised $7.2 million in pre-seed funding, the largest of its kind in Hungary. The round was led by Visionaries Club with contributions from Day One Capital and others, including angel investors from OpenAI and Hugging Face.
Allonic focuses on innovating robotic body production through its 3D tissue braiding technology, which automates assembly, reducing production time for robotic components to minutes. The company plans to grow its team from 15 to 25-30 and develop its tech platform further while pursuing pilot projects in the industrial sector.
