Allonic Secures $7.2M Pre-Seed Funding to Innovate Robotic Body Production in Hungary
Budapest-based robotics startup Allonic has raised $7.2 million in pre-seed funding, marking Hungary's largest pre-seed round. The funding was led by Visionaries Club with participation from various investors, including angels from OpenAI and Hugging Face. Allonic aims to address hardware manufacturing bottlenecks in robotics with its 3D tissue braiding technology, which automates the production of robotic components. The company plans to expand its team and develop its platform for custom robotic bodies.

Allonic focuses on innovating robotic body production through its 3D tissue braiding technology, which automates assembly, reducing production time for robotic components to minutes. The company plans to grow its team from 15 to 25-30 and develop its tech platform further while pursuing pilot projects in the industrial sector.
