ALTEA Delivers Falcon 6X Aircraft to Ireland's Department of Defense
ALTEA has delivered a Falcon 6X aircraft to Ireland's Government for defense use. This marks the first military-registered Falcon 6X and the second of its kind delivered to a European state by Dassault. The aircraft, accommodating 14 passengers, enhances Ireland's strategic reach for airlift, medical evacuation, and government transport. The acquisition followed a tender process under the Defence & Security Directive 81/2009/EC.

ALTEA delivered a Falcon 6X aircraft to the Government of Ireland for defense purposes, marking it as the first military-registered Falcon 6X in Europe. The aircraft can carry 14 passengers and perform long-haul flights to the USA.
Its acquisition was part of a tender process under Defence & Security Directive 81/2009/EC. The Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces highlighted its importance for enhanced airlift and operational capabilities. ALTEA worked closely with the Irish Air Corps over nine months to meet procurement requirements, ensuring the aircraft is equipped with advanced avionics and secure communications.
