Alzchem Group AG Chooses Site for U.S. Nitroguanidine Production Facility
Alzchem Group AG has selected Bushy Park, South Carolina, for a new nitroguanidine production facility, part of a $150 million investment supported by U.S. government funding. This move enhances Alzchem's position in the defense market and ensures supply to the U.S. government.

Alzchem Group AG plans to invest approximately USD 150 million in a new nitroguanidine production facility in South Carolina, with construction set to begin in 2027 and commissioning expected in 2029. This project aims to fulfill a contract with the U.S. government and aligns with the company's strategy to enhance its market presence in the defense sector.
Following recent capacity expansions in Germany, this facility will enable Alzchem to meet rising global demand while maintaining production of intermediate products in Germany. The decision marks a significant step in securing supply chains and creating jobs in both the U.S. and Germany.
