AM General Signs Three-Year Contract with Kosovo for HUMVEE Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer Systems

AM General has entered into a three-year Direct Commercial Sale contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo for HUMVEE Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer Systems, along with various support trucks, spare parts, and training services. The contract supports the Kosovo Security Force's military needs, highlighting AM General's commitment to modern military solutions.

The HUMVEE Hawkeye features Soft Recoil Technology, allowing for rapid emplacement, firing, and displacement within 90 seconds, enhancing survivability against counterbattery fire. In addition to the howitzers, the Kosovo Security Force will receive ambulances and command trucks, enabling a complete artillery battery and indirect firing capabilities. Deliveries are expected to commence within two years.
