AML3D has secured a AU$9.9 million order from Newport News Shipbuilding for four ARCEMY X 6700 systems, increasing NNS's total to six units. The systems will be installed at AML3D's US Technology Centre in Ohio and are expected to be operational by Q3 FY2027.
In conjunction with this order, AML3D plans a USD$12 million investment to expand its US production capabilities across various sectors. This follows a previous AUD 4.5 million order from NNS in October 2025 and aligns with AML3D's strategy for growth in the US defense market, which may represent a US$150-200 million opportunity through 2030. Despite a 30% revenue decrease in 1H26, AML3D reported a cash balance of AUD 9,165,987 as of 31 December 2025.
