Anambra's Governor Charles Soludo announced the impending deployment of additional Nigerian Army personnel to enhance security efforts. This decision was revealed during the third anniversary of the Eighth Anambra House of Assembly in Awka.
The governor indicated that the state is currently making progress against crime, attributing this to the support from President Bola Tinubu. The Nigerian Army's recent visit was part of plans to establish barracks to further assist in combating criminality.
Speaker Dr. Somtochukwu Udeze emphasized the assembly's commitment to creating impactful laws, while Commissioner Dr. Law Mefor highlighted the collaborative relationship between the legislative and executive branches. The assembly's work is viewed as evidence of Anambra politicians' maturity.
