Andhra Pradesh SIPB Approves ₹9,076 Crore in Investments for 11 Projects
The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board has approved 11 investment proposals totaling ₹9,076 crore, aimed at creating over 10,500 jobs. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of integrating industrialization with agriculture to enhance rural incomes and entrepreneurship, particularly through ethanol production.

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has cleared 11 investment proposals worth ₹9,076.11 crore, projected to generate 10,531 jobs. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the need for investment in sectors like ethanol production, food processing, renewable energy, and tourism to bolster the rural economy.
He called for a comprehensive policy on ethanol, methane, and sustainable aviation fuel to align with clean energy goals. Since taking office, the government has approved 339 projects totaling ₹11.86 lakh crore in investments, potentially creating over 10.41 lakh jobs. The focus on ethanol blending is expected to significantly increase maize demand, benefiting farmers.
