Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu approved the establishment of AP FIRST, the state's largest research center in Tirupati, aimed at fostering innovation in aerospace, AI, and biotechnology.

The center will leverage resources from IIT Tirupati and IISER Tirupati, and focus on skill development aligned with emerging technologies. The initiative seeks to strengthen youth capabilities and attract investment in critical sectors such as defense, cybersecurity, and clean energy. Naidu emphasized collaboration with universities and industry to integrate new technologies into educational curricula and enhance drone applications in various fields.
