Anduril to Establish Drone Manufacturing Facility in Pickaway County, Ohio

DEFENSE

Anduril is opening a facility in Pickaway County, Ohio, to build drones and autonomous aircraft, starting with the unmanned fighter jet Fury, expected to be assembled by April. The company plans to hire 4,000 employees over 10 years, initially targeting military veterans.

The facility, located near Rickenbacker International Airport, will span 500 acres. Fury, designated as YFQ-44A by the U.S. Air Force, will assist manned aircraft without carrying munitions.

Initial employees, Bryan Phillips and Jake Albano, completed training in Costa Mesa, California, and are set to contribute to product development. Anduril aims to create a collaborative and fast-paced work environment while preparing for future job recruitment in Ohio.
