Anschütz Completes Critical Design Review for WINBS in Royal Australian Navy's Hunter-Class Frigate Program
Anschütz has achieved the Critical Design Review (CDR) milestone for the Warship Integrated Navigation and Bridge Systems (WINBS) in the Royal Australian Navy's Hunter-Class Frigate Program, confirming the design meets all necessary technical and operational standards for deployment. The system, developed under contract with BAE Systems Maritime Australia, features integration with the Aegis Combat System, facilitating real-time sharing of navigational data.
The WINBS includes advanced radar systems and multifunctional workstations. Anschütz has also established a local subsidiary, Anschuetz Australia Pty Ltd, to enhance local collaboration and ensure a significant portion of contract value supports the Australian supply chain, reinforcing long-term support for the Navy.
